The casks used for transporting spent fuel have to have legally mandated maintenance inspections by years of operation. We provide our services for this maintenance and inspecitons. Our engineers will also handle repairs to various parts of the cask as needed during repeated transport.

Maintenance for LLW transport packages

LLW transport packages

Low-level radioactive waste (LLW) generated at nuclear power plants across the country is reduced in volume through incineration, compression, etc., and then solidified with cement or asphalt and sealed in drums. These LLW packages are sent to JNFL in Aomori. Our company also handles maintenance of LLW transport packages.
